| DESCRIPTION: This magic causes the
caster to be protected from any type of physical damage, from any source. Any
weapon, spell affect, or other source of physical damage simply bounces off the
character. This includes only direct attacks on the body of the caster - while a
lightning bolt would simply bounce off the affected priest, a vampiric touch or
death spell will still cause the affected character harm. That is because these
types of spells attack the life force of the character, while this spell only
protects the body.
The material component of this spell is the caster's holy symbol and a small
piece of either diamond or adamantine. The holy symbol is not consumed in the
casting, but the other components are. |
