DESCRIPTION: This spell enables the caster to prepare a set of defensive spells but delay their actual effects until such time as they are triggered. The caster casts the delay spell, then immediately casts one or more defensive spells. The combined levels of the delayed spells cannot exceed the level of the spell caster. The effects of the defensive spells are delayed until the caster commands them to activate (which takes 1 full round) or until the spell duration expires. Defensive spells are defined as those spells which require no saving throw, thus any spell whose target requires a saving throw cannot be delayed via this spell.
